Vondena Bowles Fletcher, 79, passed away August 5, 2015 at her Yulee residence while surrounded by her family.
She was born October 24, 1935 in Lincoln County, WV and moved to Yulee, FL in 1979 from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed sewing, crafts and cooking.
Mrs. Fletcher was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Hubert Ray Fletcher, who passed away in 2013.
Survivors include three daughters, Kimberly Carter of Yulee, FL, Kelly Fletcher, also of Yulee and Michelle Bazemore (Marvin) of Warner Robbins, GA; two grandsons, Zachary Harrison and Hunter Harrison; two great grandson, Noah and Eli Harrison; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Green Pine Cemetery.
