Obituary

Richard T. Guy, 68 of Salem, died Saturday, August 1, 2015 with his family by his side at the Salem Hospital / North Shore Medical Center in Salem following a brief illness.

Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late George A. and Elizabeth M. (MacLean) Guy. Ricky was a graduate of the Horace Mann School, Salem High School. A Veteran of the Vietnam War he served with the Army in Vietnam from 1969 to 1970. Over the years he has worked as an electrician, in glass work and in construction.

Ricky loved music and was a self taught guitarist. He also loved boating, waterskiing, fishing and golf.

In addition to his former wife Laurel N. (Pelletier) Guy of Salem, he is survived by two daughters, Rebecca A. Standley and her husband Jake of Beverly, Marlene L. Fisher and her husband Scott A. of Lynn, two sons, Ryan T. Guy and Marc G. Guy both of Salem, a grandson, Damon Standley, two nieces, Lisa & Betty Ann and a nephew, Matt.
