Dr Robert F. Rivest Jr., age 57, passed away on July 31, 2015 at before he retired in 1996. He leaves his 2 brothers John Rivest of Chicopee and Joseph Rivest and his wife Mary of Southampton and his 2 sisters Julie Prince and her husband Charles of Hershey, PA and Anne Marie Rivest and her companion Joe Giard of Westhampton. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Friday Aug. 7, 2015 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. with a prayer service at 11 a.m. in the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dakin Humane Society Animal Shelter, 171 Union St, Springfield, MA 01105.
