Obituary

Theresa (Sauta) Henderson 76 of Natick died Monday August 3, 2015 at her home.
She was the beloved wife of Richard L. Henderson sharing 56 years of marriage.
A Natick resident for 56 years she was born in Marlborough the daughter of the late James and Mary (Terestre) Sauta.

Terry , also known as “Ma Hendy” for the loving and caring ways she provided for her family, neighborhood, her children’s and grandchildren’s friends. The Henderson’s house had a “Door is always open” policy, to share food, advice and her joy as being a Mom to many in need.

She was a Master Gardener and longtime member of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, enjoyed making wine, cooking, and was a former belly dancer and instructor.

Terry was raised on her family’s farm in Hudson where she learned early on the appreciation of hard work, the beauty of nature and animals, and was an experienced horse rider.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her five children David Henderson of Natick, Barry Henderson and his wife Lori of Andover, Donna Terestre and her wife Cindy of Auburn, Linda Henderson of Natick, Tricia Henderson and her companion John Kelley of North Andover, three brothers James Sauta and his wife Betty of Stow, John Sauta and his wife Elaine of Syracuse NY, Charles Sauta and his wife Jean of Berlin, two sisters Mary Allen of Marlborough, Connie Coffin of Rochester NH, eight grandchildren, Scott and Mark Henderson, Rachel, Benjamin, Matthew, and Gabriel Sharon, Taylor and Faith Henderson, brothers and sisters in-law, Lillian Sauta of Hudson, John Henderson of Windsor CT, Kenneth Henderson of San Francisco CA, Robert Henderson of Middleton CT, Peter Henderson of Hopkinton, Suzanne Moulton of Shrewsbury, Cynthia Henderson of Belchertown and many nieces and nephews.

She was also the mother of the late Cheryl Ann Henderson, grandmother of the late Devin Henderson and sister of the late Richard Sauta.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral service on Friday, August 7 at 10:30 A.M. in the Chapel of the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common. Burial will follow in Dell Park Cemetery.

Visiting hours are Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
