Jean Louise Matley

TEWKSBURY - Jean Louise Matley, age 45, a bookbinder, died Saturday, May 7, at Saint’s
Memorial Medical Center in Lowell after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Mack “Skip”
Wolfe.
She was born in Lowell, May 13, 1959, a daughter of the late Frank S. and Priscilla (Cluff)
Matley. She was raised in Tewksbury and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School
with the Class of 1978, but had lived in Lowell for several years.
She worked as a bookbinder for several area publishers.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Steven Taylor of Lowell; a daughter, Michelle
Taylor of Lowell; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank S. Matley Jr and his wife Norma
(Tareila) and Thomas L. Matley and his wife Ann (Lajoie) all of Tewksbury; five nieces and
nephews, Melissa, Krista, Thomas Jr., Michael and Julie Matley; a grand niece, Kaylee Marie
Giles; and many cousins.
Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 11, at 11:00 a.m. in thefuneral home. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
Following cremation, interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Jean Louise
Matley Memorial Fund, c/o Banknorth, 995 Main St., Tewksbury, MA 01876 will be appreciated.
