Florence L. Williams 74, of Second Ave. died July 29, 2015 at Landmark Medical Center. She was the loving wife of Joseph R. Williams Sr. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Virginia (Moisen) Gervais. Florence worked for Hasbro Inc. for seven years before retiring in 1968. She loved going to bingo with her daughter-in-law Joanne.
Besides her husband she leaves three sons, Joseph R. Williams Jr. and Karen Sanchez of Woonsocket, Edward G. Williams of NH, and Michael A. Williams and his wife Joanne of Woonsocket, a brother Peter Gervais of FL. Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Dennis Gervais, Jeannette Cote and Annette Babola.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, concluding with a prayer service in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
