HUNT - John Solon Hunt, III (Jack, Papa, Pops), 81, passed away at Baptist Medical Center in Fernandina Beach, FL.
He was born January 27, 1934 in Elizabeth, NJ and moved to Fernandina Beach 15 years ago from Key Biscayne, FL.
He was a Korean War Veteran serving as an SP3 in the U. S. Army, and later served as a Sergeant with the U. S. Air Force Reserve.
Jack was a graduate of the University of Miami and was employed as Finance Manager with the International Division of American Express, European Theater of Military Installations. In latter years he became a Jack of all Trades.
He loved to travel; loved aviation, music, fishing and having a cold beer with friends and was an avid reader. Most of all he loved spending time with family.
Services will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery at a time to be announced.
