John Kouracles of Medford died on Saturday, August 1. Born and raised in Kalamata, Greece, he was the son of the late Peter and Anna Kouracles. John was the owner and operator of a taxi service.
He was the beloved husband of over 55 years to the late Mary Kouracles, and was the devoted father of Anne McNeil and her husband Paul of Windham, NH, Peter Kouracles and his wife Joanna of Norfolk, Irene Kouracles of Medford, Joanne Markus and her husband Robert of Andover. John was the loving grandfather of Jillian, Victoria, Carli, Bobby, Garrett, Brandon, and is also survived by many more loving friends and family members.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, August 7 at 9 AM followed by a funeral Service in the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Church, 70 Montvale Ave., Woburn, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, August 6, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
