Shirley Ann Cannady Jackson, 68, of Tifton passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015, at her residence. A private family service and burial will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the family home, 66 Cotton Pointe Circle in Tifton.
Ms. Jackson was born December 27, 1946 in Moultrie, the daughter of Kenneth Eulan Cannady and Kathryn Elizabeth Nation Cannady, both deceased. She was a homemaker and a self-employed brick mason. She loved to fish.
Ms. Jackson is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, James Scott Jackson of Tifton and Wendell Eugene and Peggy Jackson of Hoschton; one daughter, Rhonda Leigh Payne of Tifton; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Paul and Jean Cannady of Lakeland, Richard Cannady of Tifton, Randle and Marilyn Cannady of West Berrien and Timmy Terry of Ocala, Florida; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Ray Allen of Auburn and Wanda and David Cole of Douglasville; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
