New Bedford – Beatrice E. (Dean) Enos, 83, of New Bedford died after a long illness May 1, 2005 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of William Enos, Sr.
Mrs. Enos was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Maurice A. and Lydia E. (Ouelette) Dean, and resided in the city most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, Acushnet. She was employed as a presser by the former Riveredge Manufacturing, New Bedford until her retirement in 1985. She enjoyed doing cross-stitch but most of all loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include a son: William Enos, Jr. of New Bedford; 2 daughters: Susan M. Provencal and Diane M. Marnik both of New Bedford; a sister: Frances M. Medeiros of Fairhaven; a brother: Daniel Dean of New Bedford; 2 granddaughters; 2 great-granddaughters; and several nieces & nephews.
She was mother of the late Brenda L. Ferreira and sister of the late Maurice A. Dean, Jr., Franklin T. Dean, Donald Dean, Foster A. Dean, Roger R. Dean, Gilbert Dean, Lucy Vieira, Lorraine B. Monteiro and Lydia R. Dean.
At the request of the family, services will be private.
