Beatrice Alice Demers, 99, of Manchester, died July 29, 2015 at Catholic Medical Center after a period of failing health.
She was born in Penacook, NH July 15, 1916 to Ernest and Mary Jane (Nepveu) Vezina. She lived in Manchester most of her life.
Beatrice had worked as a waitress at the Carpenter Hotel. She also worked at Sylvania for several years.
She had been a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish for many years. She was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary #1824.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rene Demers, and by three children, Bertha Demers, Norman Demers and David Demers.
She leaves four sons, Brother Paul R. Demers, S.C. of Nashua, Donald L. Demers, Gerard T. Demers, and Dennis J. Demers all of Manchester; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Loretta Petrin of Boscawen; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, August 1, 2015 in the chapel of Mt. Carmel Nursing Home, 235 Myrtle St., Manchester. Burial will be in St. Augustin Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester was in charge of arrangements.
