Shirley Ann Whooley, 81, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at at her home in Oviedo, Florida. She was the widow of John J. Whooley.
Born in Malone, NY, Mrs. Whooley was employed as a banker for Hospital Trust, where she worked for over twenty years. A devout woman, Mrs. Whooley volunteered for both St. Aloysius and St Philip Church. She was a resident of Greenville for much of her life.
Mrs. Whooley is survived by her beloved daughter, Elizabeth Whooley Kilkenny, and her husband, Robert, her three cherished grandchildren: Robert Kilkenny III, Liam Kilkenny, and Cailin Kilkenny, all of Oviedo, Florida, as well as her sister, Doris McLaughlin of Warwick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, Riverside.
