Mary (Piazza) Moor, a long-time Medford resident, died Friday evening in the company of a loving family, after a brief illness. She was 72.
Mary was born and raised in the North End of Boston, the daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Louisa Piazza. For many years she worked in the office of the Retirement Commission for the Commonwealth of Massachussetts.
She was the beloved wife of the late Donald P. Moor. She was a devoted mother to Deborah D´Andrea and her husband Robert, and Donald P. Moore, Jr., all of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to Julie and Thomas D'Andrea. She was a dear sister to Rose Pelusi of Tewksbury, Diane Nunn of Monroe, CT, the late Grace Bove and Salvatore Piazza. Mary also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may visit Monday 4- 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Tuesday at 9 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Joseph Church, Medford, with burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
