Janice A. (Thibodeau) Foley, 63, of Westport, peacefully passed away at home after a long illness, on Saturday, July 25, 2015 with her family by her side. She was the wife of Gary M. Foley.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Andre D. and Evelyn R. (Lachance) Thibodeau, she had resided in Westport since 1983. Prior to her retirement in 2007, she worked as a computer systems analyst for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport. Mrs. Foley enjoyed fishing, gardening and was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. She loved staying in Florida during the Winter months and going to Disney World but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors along with her husband include her daughter: Catherine A. MacKay and her husband Todd of Westport; her son: Gary M. Foley, Jr. of Cranston; 2 brothers: Andre D. Thibodeau, Jr. and Paul Thibodeau, both of Dartmouth; 3 grandchildren: Austin, Lily and Hannah MacKay; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5-8 P.M.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Foley Family.
