Clinton J. Eolin, 70, of Little Compton passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Providence VA Medical Center after a lengthy illness, with his wife Suzanne (Gomez) Eolin by his side.
Born in Durham, NC, son of the late Clinton and Mary N. (MacDonald) Eolin, he had lived in Little Compton since 1965. Prior to retirement, he was a postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service at the Turnkey Station in Providence. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served his country in the U.S. Army. Mr. Eolin loved all animals especially his dog Mackie, he was an avid NY Yankees fan and enjoyed fishing.
Including his wife, survivors include a son: John Eolin and his wife Stephanie of Westport; 2 daughters: Mindy E. Gauthier and her husband Andre of Tiverton and Megan M. Eolin of Tiverton; a sister: Susan L. Crepeau and her husband Robert of Tiverton; 6 grandchildren: Aidan, Connor, Nathan, Tess, Lauren and Katelyn; a great grandson: Cole; a lifelong friend: Sandy Taber; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, August 1, 2015 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton at 10:00 A.M.
Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
