Obituary

Pauline (Fedyk) Romandetta-Postrk, age 84, died at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. She was the devoted wife of William M. Postrk of Plymouth. Born in Bronx, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late George and Anna (Postrk) Fedyk. She was educated at City College of New York. Pauline had worked in the educational field for most of her life as a Nursery School Teacher in N.Y. She had also in later years worked as an accountant for Volkswagen. Pauline moved to Plymouth 4 years ago, previously residing in Pearl River, N.Y. Her hobbies included cooking for her family and friends, gardening, and reading mystery novels. In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by her daughter Julie Romandetta of Braintree, and her "grandcat" Sophie. She also leaves her brother George Fedyk of Mesquite, NV and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor Bailey, and her first husband, Vincent Romandetta. Visiting hours will take place on Friday, July 24th from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Davis Funeral and Cremation Home, 619 State Road, Manomet. The funeral will take place from the funeral home followed by a mass of Christian burial at St. Bonaventure’s Church, Manomet (Plymouth) at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Vine Hills Cemetery, Plymouth.
