LACONIA – Spencer Raymond Davis, 83, of 526 Harrison Court, died Sunday, July 19, 2015 in his home after a long illness.
He was born in Springfield, MA. on April 28, 1932. He served in the US Army and worked for a number of years as an auto body technician for his family business. Spencer was an avid Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots fan. He was also a member of the American Legion and enjoyed playing golf.
He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Phyllis B. Crowley of Laconia, Betty Daly of Laconia and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Bob and Ruth Arnold of Florida and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy (Arnold) Davis in 2008, one brother, Earl Davis and one sister, Beryl Davis.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service for both himself and his wife will be held at 2:30PM on Monday, July 27, 2015 at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central NH VNA & Hospice, 780 North Main St., Laconia, NH 03246.
