Refugio "Cookie" Gomez Jr. was born on January 17, 1996 in Ventura county. He was the son of Martha and Refugio Gomez. From the time of his birth, a miracle existed. Cookie lived his life to the fullest everyday and inspired everyone he knew to do the same. He would often be seen around town riding his Blue Harley, sporting his pearly whites in a gigantic smile. If you did not see him riding around town, you would find him hard at work in his garage fixing or building anything presented to him. His honesty and love would radiate to thoes lucky enough to encounter him.
On July 17, 2015 "Cookie" passed away at the young age of 19. He passed doing what he loved, riding his motorcycle. This has truly been a tragic loss to his loved ones as his absence is truly felt. He was a very special person, who didn't miss the opportunity to tell a joke in order to lighten the day of those around him. We just hope that he is in a better place and know that he will always be carried in our hearts.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours to be held on Friday July 24, 2015 from 2 to 10pm in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street Ventura, with a Most Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Saturday July 25, 2015 in San Buenaventura Mission, Main Street Ventura.
