Anthony Fraioli, 89, of Candlewood Drive died Friday, July 17 in the RI Veterans’ Home in Bristol. He was the husband of Evelyn M. (Gentile) Fraioli. They were married for 51 years.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Antonio and Veronica (Carnevale) Fraioli. He lived in Greenville for 51 years previously living in Providence.
Mr. Fraioli was self-employed in the Jewelry industry and had served as President of the Jewelers and Silversmiths Association.
Mr. Fraioli was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII . He was a member of the Sons of Italy, Renaissance Alliance Lodge, and had looked forward to each monthly meeting. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, Dillon Council. Anthony was also an Assistant Scout Master with Troop 3, Greenville.
He is also survived by his sons, Dean Fraioli of Boston, MA and David Fraioli of Los Angeles, CA. He was the brother of Matilda, Angelo and Vincent Fraioli. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral and burial private. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
