Obituary

BEVERLY: David B. Weaver, 70, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Jean (Remare) Weaver.
Born in Beverly on April 12, 1945, he was the son of the late James M. and Anna L. (Clay) Weaver. He was a lifelong resident of Beverly and a graduate of Beverly High School class of 1963. He was also a U.S Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam Era.
David owned and operated the Weaver Glass Company since he opened it in 1977, until his retirement this past May. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved hunting out of his camp in Madison, NH and fishing the local harbors off his boat the “Glass Cutter” for many years. But what David loved the most was being with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife of forty-eight years, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Shenda (Huuskonen) Weaver of Beverly; three grandchildren, Trenton, Kaiden and Griffin Weaver; a sister, Marie Lotito and her husband, Frank of Rowley; a brother, James Weaver of Millbury; a sister-in-law, Diane Cashman and her husband, John of Danvers and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother, Robert Weaver.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Saturday, July 25th in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot St., Beverly from 9 – 11 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to The FRAXA Research Foundation, 10 Prince Place, Suite 203, Newburyport, MA 01950.
