Edward C. Thibault, Jr.,88, of 92 No.Spencer Rd., died Thursday,
April 28 at UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester.
He was the husband of Gracia R. (Lamoureux) Thibault who died in 1999. He
leaves a son Edward M. and his wife Paula Thibault of Spencer, two daughters
Rosanne G. Ingalls of Spencer, and Alice M. and her husband Richard Booth of
W.Brookfield, 6 grand, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A sister
Ethel Serwicki predeceased him.
Mr. Thibault owned and operated Thibault's Poultry Farm and Country Store
from 1925 to 1999. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, the New Braintree
Grange, former member and past President of the Mass. Poultry Assoc. and
Baby Chick Assoc., former 4H member, leader and poultry judge, former member
of the Mass. Farm Bureau, and former member and director of the American
Poultry and Hatchery Federation.
Born in Winthrop, he was the son of Edward C. and Florence M. (Mousette)
Thibault, Sr.
The funeral will be held Monday, May 2 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL
HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church,
60 Maple St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary,Queen of the Rosary
Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Sunday, May 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu
of flowers, contributions may be made to Howe Village Meal Site Activity
