Manuel Adorno, 37, of New Bedford died April 26, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was the former spouse of Michelle (Borges) Adorno of New Bedford.
Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, son of Erasmo Adorno and Maria (Maldonado) Adorno, both of New Bedford, he lived in New Bedford most of his life.
Mr. Adorno was employed as a supervisor with the Department of Youth Services in Taunton for 10 years.
He enjoyed playing softball and going to the gym.
Survivors include his former spouse; his parents; a brother, Victor Adorno, and his girlfriend Aida Aponte, of New Bedford; a sister, Iris Bajandas, and her husband Wilson, of New Bedford; and 4 nieces, Shayna, Alexis, Liani and Taina.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Saturday, April 30th at 9:30 AM.
Visiting hours Friday, April 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Interment Pine Grove Cemetery.
