Obituary

Providence, RI – Percy L. Tripp, 90, of Westport died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at Rhode Island Hospital after a brief Illness. He was the husband of Phyllis E. (Stowell) Tripp.

He was born in Westport, a son of the late George L. and Clara B. (Kirby) Tripp, and was a lifelong resident of Westport. Prior to retirement in 1978, he was a dairyman for the former Braley’s Creamery of Dartmouth. Mr. Tripp was a member of Pacific Union Congregational Church, Westport where he served as deacon and trustee. He enjoyed gardening and working outdoors.

Including his wife, he is survived by a son: Wayne L. Tripp and his wife Elizabeth of Fairfax, VA; a daughter: Margaret E. “Maggie” Tripp of Westport; and several nieces and nephews.

He was brother of the late Wendell Tripp, Eleanor Cayouette and Lilla Cook.

Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, April 29, 2005 at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport at 11:00 A.M.
