TAUNTON – Shirley Ann (Ferreira) King of Taunton, wife of the late Richard A. King, died at her home on July 16, 2015. She was 77.
Born in North Dighton, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary(Pestana) Ferreira.
She worked at Princess House and Stella’s Beauty Salon in her earlier years.
In her retired years she enjoyed her grandchildren and was the best friend of every dog in her neighborhood.
She was a communicant of Annunciation of the Lord Church.
Her survivors include three sons, Kevin M. King and his wife Lisa, Christopher E. King and his wife Kerry all of Lakeville and Nicholas R. King and his wife Laura of Berkley; a daughter, Mary-Beth (King) Perry and her husband Derek of Raynham; twelve grandchildren, David , Kacie, Ryan, Joshua, Nicholas King all of Lakeville, Noah and Savannah Paige, Gavin and Griffin Perry all of Raynham, Victoria Celia, Richard and Zachary King all of Berkley; two sisters, Dolores King and Hilda Brown; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Monday, July 20th at 9 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at Annunciation of the Lord Church, Taunton at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Sunday, July 19th from 4 to 8 p.m.
