BROCKTON - Frederick A. Terry, 77, of Brockton died Thursday, April 21, 2005, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was the husband of the late Jeannette A. (Dion) Terry.
Born March 22, 1928, in Brockton, a son of the late Leon B. and Lily Rose (Marshall) Terry, he was a lifelong resident there and a graduate of Brockton schools.
Mr. Terry was a quality control manager at Foxboro Co., Foxboro, for 38 years.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Mr. Terry enjoyed fishing, sailing and skiing.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Purpura of Warren, R.I.; his son, Frederick M. Terry of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Dawn M. Purpura of N. Attleboro, David Purpura of Middleboro and Crista L. Campbell of Brockton; his great-grandchildren, Esaiah and Elijah Campbell; a sister, Edna White of AZ; two brothers, Robert Terry and Leon B. Terry, both of Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. He was also brother to the late Almond Terry, Mildred Tierney and Lucille Smith.
A memorial service will be held in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
