Betty Walden
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, July 16, 2015, Mrs. Betty Mae Walden, 83, beloved wife of 68 years to Ralph A. Walden.
Mrs. Walden was a native of Gibson, GA but has resided in Augusta since 1950. She was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Walden was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Family members in addition to her husband include her children: Yvonne Walden Greene of Conyers and Barry Walden of Evans; grandchildren: Nancie Louise Lavender, Joshua Walden Greene, Halie Walden, and Amber Walden Moore; and sisters: Cleo Reese of Mitchell, GA and Jeanette Toole of Thomson, GA.
The funeral service will be Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Baptist Church, Columbia Rd. in Evans, with Rev. Matthew Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd., Augusta, GA 30909.
