Wayne A. Guilherme, 65, of Braintree passed away Sunday, July 12th from injuries sustained after being hit while crossing Quincy Shore Drive. Born August 18th 1949 Wayne grew up in Mattapoisett the son of the late Antonio M. and Dorothy F. (Perry) Guilherme
After graduating from Old Rochester Regional High School Wayne served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his discharge, Wayne work as a prison guard at Cedar Junction Correctional Facility and a counselor at Paul Dever School until settling on a career in Real Estate until his death
Wayne leaves behind his wife Tatiana; two sons, Mathew of Braintree and Patrick of Boston; two sisters, Joyce Yokel and Patricia O'Brien and a brother, John Guilherme all of Mattapoisett.
He was the brother of the late Lydia "Lee" Guilherme.
His Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, July 21st at 12:30 PM in The Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
