Patricia R. (Molan) McKenzie, 61, of Leominster MA died April 19, 2005 in UMass Memorial Healthcare Center. She was born in Manchester NH on December 3, 1943, the daughter of Edward P. and Victoria J. (Pecor) Molan.
She was raised in Manchester and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School for Girls; class of 1961. She had resided in Leominster many years.
She was employed by Bay State Plastics of Leominster for many years and was a proud mother and grandmother. Pat was a lifelong student of history with a special knowledge of the World War II period. She also enjoyed listening to Irish music.
Family members include a daughter, Lynn A. Rollins of Lynnfield MA; three sons, Keith W. McKenzie of Shrewsbury, MA, Kent E. McKenzie of Waipahu, HI and Michael T. McKenzie, US Army, currently stationed in Afghanistan; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Stone of Milpitas CA and Maureen Holmes of Pensacola FL; two brothers, Richard E. Molan of Manchester NH and Timothy C. Molan of Laconia NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial reception was held in the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. Manchester NH on Friday from 6 to 8 PM. A Memorial Mass was celebrated in St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Rd., Manchester Saturday at 10 AM. Urn burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 4261, Pittsfield MA 01202.
