Bertha M. (Gordon) Kackiela, 81, of Worcester died Tuesday, July 14th. She is survived by her devoted son, Steven C. Kackiela with whom she lived. Her husband of 22 years, Walter J. Kackiela died in 1977. She also leaves two brothers, Robert Gordon and his wife, Catherine of Florida and Herbert Gordon of West Boylston and many nephews and nieces. Three brothers, Earl, Henry and Theodore Gordon, and two sisters, Evelyn Simonds and Pearl Crocker predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Henry W. and Mildred C. (Plume) Gordon. Mrs. Kackiela enjoyed time spent with her son and various crafts.
Her graveside service will be held Thursday, July 16th at 12:30 p.m. at Worcester County Memorial Park. There are no calling hours.
