Alma Mary Figlioli (Gilli) 97, passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Plymouth on July 11. Wife of the late Ralph Figlioli she leaves her children Michael Figlioli of Fort Myers, FL,Paula Proctor and Steven Figlioli both of Plymouth, as well as her two loving daughter's-in-laws Lynne and Glenda Figlioli, and her son-in-law, Richard Proctor. She also leaves 5 grandchildren Pamela Mueller, Tracey Andrews,Michael Figlioli Jr., Adam and Justin Figlioli, 5 great grandchildren Caitlyn, Nicholas, and Danielle Mueller and Ian and Max Andrews. She was the sister of the late Albert Fred Gilli (killed during the invasion of Normandy).
Alma was born in Plymouth the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth (Fillippini) Gilli. She graduated from Plymouth Schools and the Wilfred Academy School of Cosmetology in Boston. She worked as a Beautician and was a member of the Golden Agers and the Sons of Italy. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The holidays, especially, meant a lot to her because she loved cooking for her family and being surrounded by her loved ones. She, also, loved traveling with her husband and friends, doing crossword puzzles, and enjoyed line dancing well into her nineties. Spending time with her grandchildren she was most happy.
A funeral service will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St. (Rte. 3A), N Plymouth on Thursday, July 23 at 11:00 AM. A visiting hour will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Plymouth, MA. Online condolencesmay be made at www.cartmelldavis.com
