Angela (LoBlundo) Venezia, of Woburn, died Thursday at the Lahey Clinic. She was 78.
Angela was born and raised in Boston’s West End, the daughter of the late Liboria and the late Catina (DeGregorio) LoBlundo. After her marriage, she settled in Somerville with her family. She has resided in Woburn for the past 15 years. Angela worked for 25 years as a sales person with the former Zayres Department Store at Fresh Pond. While proud of her contribution at work, Angela was first and foremost dedicated to her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She was the beloved wife of William Venezia. She was a devoted mother to Eleanor Tsouloufas of Woburn, Catherine Buonomo of Wales, MA, Patricia Melo of Chester, NH and William Venezia of Woburn. She was a loving grandmother to Steven, Jennifer, Matthew, Melissa, Emily, Sean and the late Raymond. She was a loving great-grandmother to Dylan and dear sister of Anna Cogswell, Frances LoBlundo, the late Freddie LoBlundo, Betty Napoli, and Johnny LoBlundo.
Relatives and friends may visit Sunday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Barbara Church, Woburn, Monday, at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
