Richard D. McCrann, 52 of South Boston, died Thursday unexpectedly. Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late George and the late Constance (Palumbo) McCrann. He was a resident of South Boston for twenty-two years formerly of Medford. He was a Medford High School Graduate. He worked over twenty years for the City of Medford´s Department of Public Works retiring in 1999. Late member of Medford VFW post 1012. Late U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Richard is survived by one son, Jeffrey McCrann. A sister, Carol O’Rourke and her husband John Of Medford, and a twin brother, Robert McCrann and his wife Karen of Medford. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. MEDFORD, Monday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Interment will be private.
