Robert "Bobby" M. Fraser - age 65 passed away on July 12, 2015 with his family by his side.
He was born in South Portland, son of Orren and Gertrude Fraser.
Surviving him are his wife Betty Fraser, daughters Mary Fraser and Michelle Burke and her husband David, grandchildren Riley, JJ, Marcus, Tucker, Cody and Matthew, his sister Betty Hashey and her husband Walter of California and brother Wayne Fraser of North Carolina. Predeceased are his siblings Reginald Fraser, Marie Herring, Riley Fraser, Corrine Rodway, Eleanor Roy, Andrea Bubar, Joel Fraser and Terri Despres.
For many years he worked for Central Maine R.R. and Sappi Fine Paper. He had a love and talent for auto-body and painting, spending time with family and friends, hunting, watching NASCAR races, go-karting with his grandkids, baseball games, hitting golf balls and spending the winters in North Carolina where he could hunt from his kitchen window. These were the things he cherished the most in life.
A Celebration of Life and Sunset prayer will be held on Friday July 17, at 6 PM at the Highland Lake, 53 Cottage Road in Windham. Parking is available across the street at the church. Pastor Kendall Libby will officiate.
