WORCESTER___John J. Navin, Jr, 74, of The Lutheran Home, 26 Harvard St, died Sunday April 17 in the home.
He leaves a brother, Thomas F. E. Navin of Alice, Texas; two sisters, Virginia M. Urso of Worcester and Joan C. Amato of Auburn and nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of John J. Navin Sr. and Jeanne L. (Comeau) Navin and lived many years in New Braintree and several years here.
Mr. Navin worked many years on the family farm, Alleluia Acres Dairy Farm in New Braintree and later worked at St. Joseph’s Abbey in Spencer.
The funeral will be held on Thursday April 21 with a graveside service at 1:00 p.m.in St. John’s Cemetery Chapel, 260 Cambridge St. There are no calling hours. DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., is directing funeral arrangements.
