Obituary

Robert M. Descoteaux, 76, of Hampstead, NH passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at his home. He was born on November 6, 1938 in Haverhill, MA, a son of the late Henry and Valerie (Strykowski) Descoteaux and attended Haverhill schools. Robert worked as a front end loader operator for Haverhill Paperboard prior to retirement. He loved spending time with his family and his dog Charlie in addition to gardening and motorcycle riding. Bob anxiously waited for his tomatoes, cukes and fresh corn to be ready to pick. More recently you would see him riding his trike along the back roads with the coming of the warm weather. Bob looked forward to the fall state fairs where he would check out all the tractors on display, both the antiques and the newest models looking for what new attachments may be out. He was an avid history buff and enjoyed sharing his knowledge. He is going to be deeply missed.
