LeForrest E. Tisdale, 89, of Abington, passed away on July 9th after a period of failing health. He was the beloved husband of 49 years to Marion (Slinger) Tisdale.
He was born and raised in Abington, son of the late Nelson and Georgetta (Wheeler) Tisdale.
Le Forrest has been a lifelong resident of Abington, a graduate of Abington High School, also BHS Electrical School. He worked as a machinist at the H.H. Arnold Co. for many years.
He has been a member of the Masons for over 50 years.
In addition to his wife Marion, he is survived by his children, Brian Tisdale of Brockton, Donna Conrad of NH and Diane Tisdale of Roslindale, his grandchildren, Roslyn, Nathan, Jacob, Isaac and Michael. His great grandchildren, Alexis, Maelynn, Haleigh, Skye and Hayden. He was also the father of the late Deborah Tisdale and brother of the late Parker H. Tisdale.
His services will be held on Monday July 13th at 10:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St.(Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 12th from 2:00-6:00PM.
