Charles A. Fling, 91, formerly of Derry, NH died Monday April 18, 2005 in the Hillsborough County Nursing Home, Goffstown, NH. Mr. Fling was born in Derry on March 20, 1914, a son of the late Charles C. and Catherine (McClusky) Fling. Mr. Fling attended Derry schools and was later employed by the United Shoe Co., Manchester, NH. He had resided in Goffstown and Manchester the last two years, formerly living in Derry most of his life. He really enjoyed playing golf.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Henderson of Northport, FL, four grandchildren, Katherine Roberge of Goffstown, Curtis Henderson, Jr., of Indiana, Nancy Wilkins of Florida, Megan Henderson of England, also eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Florence (King) Fling in 1990.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, burial will be private. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling arrangements.
