SPENCER: Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Perkins) Giguere, 83, of Wall Street died Thursday, July 9 in Lanessa Extended Care, Webster after an illness.
She leaves two sons; Michael J. Giguere and his wife Loretta of Webster and Stephen K. Giguere and his wife Lisa of East Brookfield and a sister Kay Canelas of Tewksbury. She was pre-deceased by her former husband Donald T. Giguereand a sister Marilyn Dezak.
Betty was born in Malden, daughter of Louise O'Leary. She worked in the housekeeping department at Clark Manor Nursing Home in Worcester for 25 years before retiring. After retirement she worked part time at Rustic Laundry Mat in Spencer for several years. She was a fan of "Betty Boop". She loved country music. She was a caring person who always thought of others first and she never missed an occasion with a card.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, July 11 at Noon in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. There are no calling hours.
