Ronnie Ralph Thompson, 72, of Fitzgerald died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM, Friday, July 10, 2015, at Evergreen. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 Friday morning at the funeral home.
Mr. Thompson was born February 7, 1943, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Ralph C. & Clyde Vivian Gilliard Thompson. He was a graduate of Fitzgerald High School and a production worker for Fitzgerald Mills and Shaw Industries. He enjoyed tinkering with tools and working with his hands. He attended the Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Elouise Thompson of Fitzgerald; a nephew, Robert Eric Thompson of Bluffton, South Carolina; as well as several cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by niece, Vivian C. Thompson.
