Evans – Mr. David Owen Fort, Jr., 74, beloved husband of 54 years of Carol Allen Fort, entered into rest on Monday, July 6, 2015 at University Hospital.
A man who lived for God and his family. A man who worked diligently personally, professionally, and on the mission field as he walked the walk and talked the talk. A man who always had a big smile and kind word of encouragement to match. A man who was honest and wise. A man who was a Godly example to the next generation and treated all with love and respect. A man who put smiles on the faces of kids every Sunday morning and put peppermints in their hands. A man who smiled as he cleaned up happily after every children’s church activity every week and said it was all good because they were learning about Jesus.
And the best “Poppy” there ever was!
