Doreen C. (Wiley) Ashton, a lifelong resident of Medford, died Monday, July 6, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Doreen was the daughter of Carmela (Yebba) Micozzi and her husband Frank of Plymouth, and the late Buron E. Wiley.
She was the devoted mother of Nicole Ashton-Barretto and her husband Anthony of Malden, and the loving grandmother of Angelica Barretto. Doreen was the sister of the late Sheila Wiley, Thomas Wiley and his wife Lorraine, Debra Plambeck, all of Plymouth, and Maria Micozzi of Florida, and is also survived by many loving nieces and cousins.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday, July 13 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday, July 12, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
