Plymouth – Anna E. (Barrett) Tripp, 81, of Westport died Thursday, April 14, 2005 at Jordan Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Dr. James A. and Anna B. (Rounds) Barrett, and resided in Westport for many years. She was a graduate of Dartmouth High School and Campbells Secretary School, New Bedford. Ms. Tripp was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States navy Medical Corp. Prior to her retirement she was a school bus driver for Ovila Gagne, Westport and also as a senior aid at the former Union Hospital, New Bedford.
She is survived by a daughter: Nancy Correia of MD; a grandson: Mark M. Tripp of Becket, MA; 3 great grandsons: Mark M. Tripp, Jr., Matthew G. Tripp and Timothy Tripp.
She was sister of the late Commander Boynton F. Barrett.
