WORCESTER
Henry O. Oles, 82, formerly of 600 Main St. died Wednesday, April 13 in St. Vincent Hospital. His wife of 45 years, Dorothy H. (Arcure) Oles died in 1997. He leaves a son, Stephen Oles of Suwanne, GA; a daughter, Stella Marie Oles of Snellville, GA; a grandson, Nicolas Rainville; two sisters, Jenney Oles and Stella Boudreau both of Grafton; many nieces and nephews. A brother, Stanley L. Oles predeceased him.
He was born in New Market, NH son of John and Sophie Worris and lived in Worcester for many years. Henry was a WW II Navy veteran. Mr. Oles was a union laborer who worked for many area contractors. He was a member of St. Peter’s Church and the International Laborers Union Local #243.
The funeral will be Friday, April 15 from the CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main St. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum. Calling hours will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
