Obituary

WEBSTER – Theodore J. Kaczala, 80, of 17 Slater Street, died Tuesday, April 12 in Oakwood Rehab & Nursing Center.

He leaves his wife of 51 years, Nellie L. (Kurowski) Kaczala; a son, Gary P. Kaczala of Boston; a sister, Helen Kaczala of Uxbridge; four nieces, Judy Wagner, Christina Ouellet, Patricia Hennessey and Cynthia Iwanski; and a nephew, Joseph Kurowski.

He was born and raised in Uxbridge, the son of Theodore and Annie (Rozak) Kaczala, and moved here when he married in 1953. He was a graduate of Uxbridge High School.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Kaczala was a steel worker at Wyman Gordon Company in Grafton for 33 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of St. Joseph Basilica. He enjoyed his daily walks.

The funeral will be held Monday, April 18, at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to either the St. Joseph Basilica Debt Reduction Fund or to the Friends of St. Joseph School Fund, both at 53 Whitcomb St., Webster, MA 01570
