Obituary

Frances M. (Delbou) Rubino, 85, of Millis died peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Arthur E. Rubino, Sr. who died in 2006.

Born in Boston on January 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Kilduff) Townson.

Mrs. Rubino was a resident of Millis since 1959.

She was a homemaker for most of her life and also worked as a housekeeper and seamstress for many years.

Mrs. Rubino was a longtime communicant of St. Thomas Church in Millis. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Michael A. Rubino of Franklin, Arthur E. Rubino, Jr. and his wife Karen of Washougal, Washington and Stephen A. Rubino and his wife Dee of Williamsburg, Virginia and three daughters, Joanne S. Laverty of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania, Jacqueline F. Barr and her husband Douglas of Millis and Julie A. Berger and her husband Rick of Helena, Montana.

She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a brother George “Skip” Townson and his wife Lynda of Yukon, Oklahoma.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass at St. Thomas Church, 111 Exchange St. in Millis on Friday, July 10 at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Millis.

Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
