Obituary

TEWKSBURY: Eva E. (Goss) Turner, age 85, a resident of Tewksbury for 65 years, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at home.
She was the wife of the late William F. Turner, who died June 8, 1977.
Born in South Boston on November 13, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Arthur S. and Eva E. (Price) Goss. Mrs. Turner was raised in Natick and attended Natick schools.
In 1939, she moved to Tewksbury and was a member of the Tewksbury United Methodist Church.
Prior to her retirement in 1986, she was employed as an assembler by the Compugraphic Company of Wilmington. Mrs. Turner enjoyed cooking, knitting and crotchet.
She is survived by 2 sons; William A. Turner and his wife Anna (Longo) and Wayne A. Turner and his wife Sandra (Bever) all of Tewksbury; 2 daughters; Ann M. DiBerto and her husband Robert and Eva E. Desharnais and her husband Roger all of Tewksbury; 2 brothers; William Goss and his wife Druce of Shrewsbury and Melvin Goss and his wife Joan of Townsend; 4 sisters; Claire Young and her husband Donald of Arizona, Eleanor Leonard and her husband Ed of Jefferson, MA, Georgette Broulette of Waltham and Jean Cintolo and her husband Fran of Worcester; also many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours Thursday, April 14th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the FARMER & DEE FUNERAL HOME, 16 LEE ST., TEWKSBURY. Funeral services Friday, April 15th at 1 p.m. at the Tewksbury United Methodist Church, cor. of Main & South St., Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472 are requested.
