Obituary

Thomas F. Randall, 43, of Cullman, Alabama, died in a truck accident on Saturday, June 20, 2015 in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Carol A. (Dailey) Randall Ketchum and Charles D. Ketchum of Deltona, FL, where he previously lived and his father, Thomas F. Randall, Sr. of Jacksonville, FL. He had previously lived in Harmony and Greenville, RI before moving to Cullman, Alabama, where he most recently made his home.

He attended Johnston High School. He was a graduate of Satellite High School in Florida, attended CCRI in Lincoln, RI and BCC in Cocoa, FL. He graduated from Roadmaster Tractor Trailer School, Orlando, FL.

Thomas was employed by Scott’s Excavating and Hauling in Cullman, AL as a tractor trailer driver. He was previously employed by WSE J Anthony Express, Marwell Trucking, Prime Marten trucking and Priority transportation. He was a part time actor.

He played sports from elementary school including, soccer, basketball, track and cross country. He loved the beach, playing pool, and fishing.

Thomas was a gregarious and vibrant man, who loved life and all it had to offer. He had many hobbies, including billiards and working on cars. A Rhode Islander at heart, Thomas’ favorite meals included hot wieners and coffee milk. He was a devoted son, and the well-being of his family was very important to him. Thomas was a great lover of animals, and doted on his dog, Marley Randall.

Besides his parents, Thomas is survived by his sister, Lori Ann Marcil of Woonsocket, his girlfriend, Kathy Looney of Cullman, AL, his beloved dog, Marley, his former wife, Theresa E. Randall of Methuen, MA, and his aunt, Tammy A. Guilman, of Greenville. He was the grandson of the late Charles and Margaret Dailey and Arthur and Elsie Randall.

A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in St Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. A graveside service in Acotes Hill Cemetery will be Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Philip Food Pantry, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828.
