Carolina B. (Bertelli) Trocchi, 85, of Mattapoisett died April 30, 2002 unexpectedly at St. Joseph Manor Nursing Home.
She was the wife of the late Fred Trocchi, and daughter of the late Petronio and Linda (Bretta) Bertelli.
Mrs. Trocchi was born in Bridgewater and had lived in Sandwich before moving to Mattapoisett in 1948.
She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Mattapoisett.
Mrs. Trocchi and her late husband were the proprietors of Fred's Liquor Store and Fred's Garage until their retirement.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Survivors include a brother, Dino Bertelli of Bridgewater; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Alfred Bertelli and Mary Bertelli.
