Tilton-----Robert " Bob" H. Hurst Sr. 79, of Gusty road, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, June 27, 2015 at his home.
Bob was born July 11, 1935 in Foster Township, Pennsylvania, son of the late James T. and Freda (Freer) Hurst. He was a heavy equipment mechanic for Amsco for many years before retiring. He enjoyed taking care of his home, working on small engines and motors, traveling and vacations especially in the motor home and above all spending time with his family and will be missed by many.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Alice (Blaisdell) Hurst, a daughter, Samantha Worster and her husband Daniel Worster; five step-sons, Wayne Taylor and his wife Mary, Kenneth LaCourse, Paul Blaisdell, John LaCourse Jr. and Gordon LaCourse; four step-daughters, Shirley Anderson, Janine Miller, Patricia LaCourse and Peggy Fuller; a sister, Norma Worster; seven grandchildren, Mark Taylor and his wife Carla, Mathew Taylor and his wife Jacqueline, Stephanie Hurst, Stacy Hurst, Joshua Hurst, Thomas Worster and his wife Cassie and Jillian Worster and nine great-grandchildren, Alicia, Christopher, Abigail, Andrew and Allison Taylor, Dominic Clough, Kamden Messier, Emily Hurst and Dylan Hurst as well as many nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his first wife, Priscilla "Pat" (Ludwick) Hurst, his son Robert H. Hurst Jr. , a sister Naomi Miller and two brothers, William and Richard Hurst.
A private Memorial celebration of life was held July 5, 2015.
