New Bedford – Lisa C. Tripp, 44, of Westport, died Monday, April 11, 2005 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Fall River, daughter of Allen G. “Bill” Tripp of Westport & Lee O. (Chase) Tripp of Westport, and was a lifelong resident of Westport. A graduate of Westport High School and University of New Hampshire receiving a B.A. Degree in History, she was a commercial lines representative for a local insurance company.
Ms. Tripp enjoyed the Westport River, including water-skiing, boating, swimming, etc. An avid gardener, she also had interest in art mainly in watercolors, but most of all, loved spending time with her 2 children.
Including her parents, she is survived by a son: Ross C. Mandly of Westport; a daughter: Leah O. Mandly of Westport; a brother: Allen G. Tripp, Jr. of Falls Church, VA; a sister: Leslie O. Tripp of North Potomac, MD; a niece; and a nephew.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
